During her senior year at USC’s highly acclaimed School of Cinematic Arts, Emma was chosen as the first undergraduate student in history to solo direct a graduate level funded documentary.

Entitled In Her Corner, this film details the intricate and intimate lives of three female boxers at various different points in their boxing careers. A single mother turned pro-boxer about to fight for a World Title, a young up-and-coming amateur boxer and visual artist, and a veteran boxer who won women the right to box in the US - all come together to tell their stories and to show the humanity, peace, and balance that makes up the art of boxing.

This film is currently on a festival run, and is scheduled to be screened on both the East Coast and West Coast in late 2020/early 2021. Please reach out to Emma for more information.
